The following days are regarded by the Bahá'ís as Holy Days.

This is the Bahá'í New Year. The Bahá'í calendar consists of 19 months of 19 days each with an additional 4 days (5 days for leap years) between the 18th and 19th months designated as the Intercalary Days.

This refers to the period when Bahá'u'lláh publicly declared His mission in the Garden of Ridván in Baghdad, Iraq in 1863. Commemorations are held on April 21, April 29 and May 2.

On this day in 1844, the Báb - meaning the Gate and the forerunner to Bahá'u'lláh - declared His mission in Shiraz, Iran.

After 40 years of exile and imprisonment, Bahá'u'lláh passed away on May 29, 1892 in Akka, Israel.

On July 9, 1850, the Báb was executed in Tabriz, Iran.

The Báb was born on October 20, 1819 in Shiraz, Iran.

Bahá'u'lláh was born on November 12, 1817 in Tehran, Iran.

Day of the Covenant commemorates the anniversary of the birth of 'Abdu'l-Bahá, son of Bahá'u'lláh, the appointed interpreter of His Writings and the Centre of His Covenant.

'Abdu'l-Bahá passed away on November 28, 1921 in Haifa, Israel.
